welcome to my website - of visual delights and the occasional written word. More of my art and photography, may be seen on my facebook business page ROWAN ARTIST.

The leaves are falling and with it the colors are changing from screaming vivid oranges and brilliant yellows to muted pre-winter tones, ambers and greys with russets and reds muted in marsh grasses. Sunsets at the shore are gorgeous in any season.

The local cranberries provided a gorgeous red against the blue waters, now are harvested and await the culinary expertise of the traditional and non traditional cook.

Plein Air local painters have been enjoying balmy weather - which is about to shift - some hearty souls will face the elements and some move to inside studio work to paint.
My assemblage “journeying” is in the small works exhibit at the PAAM (Provincetown Art Association and Museum) through January 5th 2021.
Wow! 2021! May the new year bring new hope.

APPLE PIE MAKING TIME

Enjoying the remaining snow-free days of late autumn in New England. A crispness has returned to the air …
It’s apple pie making time!
